Fiverr Goldrush Review

What is Fiverr?

Fiverr is a job website in which all jobs are only five dollars $5. You can sign up to do different jobs for $5 or you can look for people who are willing to do specific jobs for you at only $5 each. I have used Fiverr in the past but I never really thought of using it as a business tool until I bought Fiverr Goldrush.

Fiverr has been talked about and advertised all over the internet and television on websites and shows such as: Tech Crunch, G4, The Wall Street Journal and Life Hacker.

Before I used Fiverr Goldrush I was trying to build my websites on my own. I just did not have the hundreds and even thousands of dollars that I would need to pay someone to do the job for me. After reading through this program I went through Fiverr and now my site is up and running.

I put aside one hundred dollars ($100) and used it in Fiverr to:

Pay someone to install my paid blog and websites
Paid to have high quality articles written to publish on my sites
Had a unique banner created for the top of my blog
Finally had my own logo to brand my sites and blogs
My last act was to pay someone $5 to look over my sites and give me tips on how to make the sites better. His report was great and helped me to fix weak parts of my blogs.

The Amazing Super Affiliate Review

After eHow decided to screw their writers, I decided to move on to other avenues. One of the things I decided to try was affiliate marketing. I have been doing this for years, but I finally decided to turn it into a business. The problem is that many of these opportunities were scams or they did not provide what they claimed to offer. I have decided to start offering reviews to let you know what I think about a particular clickbank product. Here's my first review:

The Amazing Super Affiliate program caught my attention because Amazon is a great place to promote if you are doing affiliate marketing. So having a system that shows you how to maximize your Amazon sales is a great idea.

The Good
  • This program takes you through the entire Amazon process to show you what to do to begin making money.
  • It tells you about the best products and keywords to use.
  • Includes a video marketing course to physically show you what to do.
  • 60 Day money back guarantee.
The Bad

The only bad thing I can say about this program is that it teaches you only one marketing program which is Amazon. It is not a program that covers many different affiliate marketing techniques for multiple programs such as cj.com.

The Amazing Super Affiliate Scam?

So, is the The Amazing Super Affiliate a scam? No it is not. There are many scams online for people who want to make money online and create a home business. However, this is not one of them. It is not a get rich quick program. But if you follow their instructions and put your time and hard work into this, you can make a lot of money as an Amazon affiliate.

Examiner.com Stats, Earnings and Update

I was accepted as the Beyonce Examiner and it has been active for 2 and 1/2 days now. I'm very surprised and pleased with my stats so far. I've never had stats that good in such a short amount of time and I'm a member with a large amount of content sites like Helium, Ac, Ehow, Squidoo and more.

I hesitated to join examiner.com after I saw many writers complaining that they made $40 in 5 months or even less. So I'm not sure what I'm doing right. I'm not a person that is heavily into social networking, so I don't use them often. I just tend to write and hope for views.

As I look at my stats, I definitely plan to put in a lot more work into my Beyonce Examiner page. Comparing it to other places I write:

Ehow - $15/month - 20 Articles
AC - $80-$100/month - Over 200 Articles I think
Bukisa - $10/month - 5 - Articles

My Examiner stats for 2 1/2 days:

As of this post I still have 5 hours left in the day, so I'm hoping to make $40 today.

12-Jun-09 - 1 Articles - 186 - $1.86
13-Jun-09 - 5 Articles - 3,539 - $28.92
14-Jun-09 - 8 Articles - 3177 - $31.77

Total Views - 6902

Total $$ - $62.55

#5 Top Examiner in Entertainment

I'm not sure why I recieved less than 1 cent per view yesterday. Anyone know how the page view/$$ works?

My only complaint with Examiner is that I wish the referral program worked like other websites. I find it awkward to have to ask someone to use my number or name of examiner page when they sign up, anywhere but my blog. As I discovered, some websites refuse to work with Examiners or trade links because agressive referral seekers have spammed them and ruined it for other writers. :(

I don't know where my traffic is coming from, but I use Google Alerts for latest Beyonce news and was pleasantly surprised to open an alert email and see all of my posts are in the Google news section.

Writing For Examiner.com

I've been gone for a while, but in reality I've joined a few more writing websites and I've been busy working from home. The newest website that I have joined is Examiner.com.

Unlike Associated Content, Helium and Today.com, they actually pay a pretty good ppv amount. Your Examiner.com earnings all come from visitors. The difference from some of the other content sites is that it is 1 penny for every visitor. That translates to $10 for every 1,000 visitors.

My first couple days on Examiner.com were great to say the least. Remember that every content site starts off slow and with pennies until you've built up your portfolio and found followers.

My first day on Examiner.com, I wrote just one article around 6pm. I checked two hours later and I already had over 168 visitors/$1.68. That was with no social media advertising.

The next day I posted another article. I had another $2.00 in a short amount of time. I had a couple hours to kill, so quickly posted it to Digg and left the room for an hour or so. Came back to see that I suddenly had over 600 visitors/$6.00. The majority of the traffic had to have come from Digg.com. Another great thing about the traffic on Examiner is that your recent articles are posted to the front page AND Examiner shows up in Google news. So if someone gets Google Alerts for those keywords, you have a built in audience already.

To sign up for Examiner, you simply click the "Write for us" link that is all over the website and Examiner pages. Select the site you would like to write for or suggest your own. While Examiner is mainly a local newspaper type website, you can choose to write a celebrity site, job, television show, etc. Just choose something you love and know how to write about easily.

After sign up, you will recieve a few emails to walk you through the process. You may or may not recieve a phone call interview. Send back the information they request and that includes permission for a background check. Before you click button, understand that they only check for felonies and sex offenders. They require this check because you have the opportunity to use the site as a great stepping stone for your professional writing career. Examiners are more like journalists than a content writer.

For instance, some writers recieve great perks such as getting tickets to theme park if you run one of the local vacation or theme park Examiners, so you can review the park and get interviews. Other perks have been given to other local Examiners as well. If you are working like a journalist, they should expect to hire people who will represent them well.

Some Examiners make a couple hundred to over $1000/month. Others make even more than that. The potential is there if you want to put in the work.

They do have a referral system as well, so if you do join, please consider using me as your referrer: 13807

You have to input the referral number when you sign up.

A website known as Forum Booster has changed their name and web address to Content Current. One reason for the change is the fact that they offer more than a way to stock your new forum with content, they also allow webmasters to buy articles and content.

When you apply, you will need to do a test article and if approved, you can begin searching for jobs for posting on a forum or writing articles and content.

Instead of becoming an affiliate to a dating website, why not create your own? Dating and singles are two keywords that are hot online. Tons of dating websites have been created in the past and more pop up every year.

That is because people are always looking for that special someone to spend the rest of their lives with. It is a billion dollar a year industry, so why not get a cut of that dating pie?

DIY-Dating is a website that aims to help you create your very own dating website with less of the hassle than starting up on your own.

You will get to keep 86% of all revenue made from your dating website, and even better, your new dating site will come with a list of potential candidates who may be willing to upgrade to a paid account.

Twitter Users - Make Money From Your Tweets

Most people were anticipating this. A way to make money from Twitter. A website called TwitPub now makes it easier than ever to recieve revenue from your premium tweets that you create. You have the ability to set the fee and automate your pub. TwitPub gives you 80% of everything you make from their website.

TwitPub sounds like a great idea and if they did not create the site, someone else would have. However, I have to wonder if the average blogger or Twitter users will really be able to make money with this program. Think about it. You already check your favorite tweets for free, so would you really pay $1, or $5 if that person suddenly starts charging a premium? I can see celebrities and others making money from this, because fans will want the ability to check what they are doing every second of the day.

I guess we'll have to see how it goes. If you want to try it youself sign up here: TwitPub
